Admission Requirements

International applicants seeking admission and enrollment at Hazrat-e Masoumeh University (HMU) must meet the following requirements:

1. General Requirements

Hold non-Iranian citizenship

Have no legal restrictions preventing them from studying or residing in the Islamic Republic of Iran

Meet the requirements for pursuing higher education in Iran Undertake to comply with the laws and regulations of the Islamic Republic of Iran, as well as the rules and regulations of the University

2. Academic Requirements

Applicants must hold a valid educational qualification recognized by the relevant authorities and appropriate to the level of study for which admission is sought:

Associate and Bachelor's Degree: A secondary school diploma and pre-university certificate, or an equivalent qualification, with a minimum of 12 years of formal education Master's Degree: A valid Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification Doctoral Degree: A valid Master's degree or equivalent qualification Undertake to comply with the University's academic, student, and disciplinary regulations Pay the application and document-processing fee (applicable to non-scholarship applicants) Provide a certificate of successful completion of Persian language courses (applicable to graduates of non-Iranian educational institutions)

Educational qualifications issued by educational institutions outside Iran must be authenticated and recognized in accordance with the applicable regulations and by the competent authorities.

Note 1: As the language of instruction at Hazrat-e Masoumeh University is Persian, applicants who have studied at non-Iranian educational institutions and are not proficient in Persian will, following final admission, be referred to the Persian Language Education Center of the province to complete the required language courses.

Admission Process

Admission Guide for Hazrat-e Masoumeh University (HMU) International applicants may follow the steps below to apply for admission to Hazrat-e Masoumeh University:

1. Initial Application Submission Complete the admission application form and upload the required documents through the University's website: https://hmu.ac.ir/forms.aspx

2. Document Review and Processing by the International Office Upon receiving the applicant's documents, the International Office will undertake the following procedures:

Review the applicant's documents and information Follow up on and obtain the required approval from the Organization of Student Affairs Conduct the necessary academic assessments and assign a student identification number Take the necessary steps to obtain authorization for the issuance of a student visa

3. Payment of Fees

Following approval of the applicant's admission, the applicant must pay the applicable fees and send the payment receipt to the WhatsApp number provided above.

4. Issuance of Visa and Student Residence Authorization Once the administrative and financial procedures have been completed, the International Office will contact the student. The student visa authorization will be issued and sent to the student.

The necessary procedures for obtaining student residence authorization will then be carried out.

5. Obtaining the Visa and Reporting to the University

Upon receiving the student visa authorization, the student must visit the Consulate of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the city specified during the application process to obtain the student visa.

Upon arrival in Iran, the student must:

Report to the University's student dormitory and receive their room assignment

Report to the University's Security Office to obtain their student ID card

Scholarships and Tuition Fee Discounts

Tuition Fee Discount Policy for Non-Iranian Students at Hazrat-e Masoumeh University

Hazrat-e Masoumeh University, in support of its non-Iranian students and with the aim of encouraging them to enhance their academic and research capabilities, has established certain benefits in the form of tuition fee discounts. Pursuant to a resolution adopted by the University’s Board of Trustees, eligible students may benefit from tuition fee discounts in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations. The conditions for eligibility for tuition fee discounts are as follows:

Qur’an memorizers and children of martyrs, upon submission of valid documentation and approval by the relevant organizations of the Islamic Republic of Iran	20% discount on educational tuition fees
Students whose GPA in the previous academic level is 18 or higher, based on the equivalency assessment	10% discount for the first academic semester
Students who achieve a GPA of 18 or higher during an academic semester	10% discount on educational tuition fees for the subsequent semester
Participation in academic and research activities, including seminars, recognized international events, and publications approved by the University Research Council	10% discount on educational tuition fees for the semester following the activity
Participation in sports activities, including achieving rankings in cultural and sports festivals and competitions, subject to approval by the Cultural Council	10% discount on educational tuition fees for the semester following the activity
